Puerto Vallarta, Mexico: Underwater Trash the Dress!

http://blueskyvideos.com/klkphotography/Andi_Reggie_TTD/Every one of my destination brides that are getting married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, are almost guaranteed to take a trip to Bucerias! This is our favorite little town about 30 minutes north of "el centro". Awesome culture, market, people & food!

Andi & Reggie were married in Las Caletas, a beautiful private beach (check out the previous post), then decided to dress up the next day & head to Bucerias to take a few more pics. They knew from the beginning that they wanted to jump in the ocean, I brought my underwater gear & we ended the session in the pool & headed to the ocean for sunset! It was a challenge, but SO much fun, check it out...

These photos along with the underwater photos were taken with my new Canon G10 and the underwater housing...it's pretty sweet...

Steven & Gina invited me out to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to share their special day with them! Paul and I had such a great time there - always do! It's becoming our 2nd home and we are becoming quite familiar with the area and locations to shoot. We are honored to work besides the amazing ladies, Kristin and Michelle of The Dazzling Details whom always make the scene absolutely breathtaking!




...we see such unique beauty all over Mexico, during the shot below the locals were yelling at us not to shoot there because they thought it was "no bonito" (not so pretty) - we thought just the opposite, and actually spent most of our time here doing the romantic shots... :)

We definitely try to take full advantage of the scenery with destination weddings, almost all our couples are up for the "Trash the Dress" or "Day After" session after their busy wedding week. This allows us to really get the creative & edgy shots we may not have been able to get on the wedding day.


First, we explored around downtown Puerto Vallarta and then headed to the beach!

Paul and I are in Mexico until the 4th shooting Vanessa & Niko's wedding, we got to meet with them tonight at the welcome party and they are SOOOO sweet and so adorable. We are looking forward to the awesome weekend! AND and extra bonus...we get to work with the AMAZING Kristin and Michelle of Dazzling Details, AMAZING for sure - woohoo! :)
