Omari & Lara: Australia Wedding!

If you've been following my blog, I think you might remember the post I made a couple months ago regarding the trip Paul and I took to Melbourne & Sydney Australia! This was one of the greatest & most challenging experiences of our lives. Traveling 15 hours doesn't do you justice when you need to prepare for a wedding! Definitely not complaining, we will gladly do it again ANY day! We just made a pact that if we're going that far, we're staying longer! ;)

We arrived in Melbourne to spend some time with my sister & her family, then took off to Sydney a few days later to join the wonderful Lara & Omari for their wedding day in Manly! We cannot thank them enough for this opportunity & hope we blessed them just as much with our work as they have blessed us! Here's a few of my favorites from their big day...

Hal & Abby's Wedding: St. Regis Monarch Beach

Hal & Abby held their very private, exclusive, intimate destination wedding at the breathtaking St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort...

So much architecture for a photographer to play with! :)

Their intimate brunch was held in the private wine cellar, surrounded by an exclusive 17,000 bottles of wine from around the world! An beautiful scene.

Some of my favorite women, from the wedding industry, that I had the privilege of working with once again were Laurie Davies of Five Star Weddings & Events, and Denise who created the unique and vintage hairstyle of the bride! Thanks you two for making everything that much more beautiful!

Gina & Steven were so awesome to work with & absolutely wonderful for inviting us to Mexico to share their special day with them! We captured their rehearsal dinner, wedding day & enjoyed a "Trash the Dress" session as well! There was the sweetest wandering dog following us, we had to hold Gina back from taking him home! :)

Boudoir: Not just for Brides!

I love giving a gift that keeps on giving. Donna decided to get a unique gift together for her husband. She booked a boudoir session with me last month & what an amazing woman! Donna is a rockstar. She is absolutely beautiful inside and out. I loved getting to know her while getting her these sexy & classy shots for her hubby...of SEVEN years!!! Yes, instead of a gift the day of the wedding, his is an anniversary gift, some may consider 7 years late. After 3 kids (yup, I said it) she is now in the best shape she's been in since the big day, so what better time than now?
I thought I'd put a little collage together of some of my favorites from the session...


I wanted to post this unique session to encourage brides to stay and eat healthy. The stress of planning can put a toll on your health and your looks. Some brides go to extreme limits to lose those extra pounds (or those extra ounces!). Take care of yourself. Don't fret if you're not your exact "ideal" weight by your wedding day. You have the rest of your life to spend with your hubby, he's marrying you & he loves you just the way you are.
