We're in Savannah, Georgia!

We're on a trip to Savannah! This is the first "official" vacation (EVER!) for Paul and I where we're not shooting a destination wedding...instead, we are scoping out wedding locations for OUR wedding! We're so excited & will keep you posted on what we find!
Hope you all had a very Happy Easter! So far, we've had a great time...we've seen a lot, a lot of churches...

a ton of the beautiful majestic oaks...
..unique fountains...
And we saw just a few of these ;)
...and last but not least... my absolute favorite scene. The road to Wormsloe Plantation is lined with oak trees that are filled with spanish moss. This scene is unforgettable (unfortunately, they don't allow weddings there...).
We'll keep looking, please let us know if you have any ideas or know of a place in or near Savannah to check out! :)

  1. Hey Kristi!

Check out Wormsloe Plantation or the Washington Plantation. I've admired them from afar. A plantation wedding would be so romantic! Especially with the tree lined roads.

  2. Thank you Linda! That's Exactly what we're looking for, the very romantic feel and the double row of trees or single tree in an open field!

  5. Ask locals about Cumberland island. It had the first little African American church built in the U.S. on it and an old plantation whose horses are now wild and have bread all over the island. It's where JFK jr. got married. Near Savannah. Worth a day trip to either way. We went camping for 5 days. Watch out for snakes!

  6. Hey Kristi, check out Forsyth Park. I am not from savannah GA but the reason I know this is because a photographer recently shot a wedding there and I was able to see it on her blog: Here is her link:
